What on Earth am I here for?

In Our Quest to find our true purpose in life we find ourselves soul searching for answers. In God's infinitness we allow Him to speak to us and guide us on this on going journey. In this search God leads us in mysterious places, places that we never imagined being at, places that we didn't plan on, places of testing that we can not find the answers without His leadership, and most importantly a place we ask ourselves what is my True Purpose in Life.

As God leads us to read this book together for the next 40 Days I pray that God begins to set order and direct our paths in His will for our lives. I pray that questions that we have within our spirits are answered and that God reveals Himself to us in an unpresidented way. God is found in the deep and as we enter deeper waters with Him I pray that He strengthens us for the challenges we may face ahead of us. That He prepares us for the exceeding abundance He has in store for us and that we come out of this looking and feeling stronger than we ever have been before. Not only should we be prepared for the obstacles but be prepared for the blessings.

When God wants to bring blessing and significant change to one's life we learn that in the bible and the preface of this book He took 40 days of bringing order and correction. Let's look at the examples again:


*Noah's life transformed by 40 days of rain.
*Moses transformed by 40 days on Mount Sinani
*The spies were transformed by 40 days in the Promise Land
*David was transformed by Goliath's 40-day challenge
*Elijah was transformed when God gave him 40 days of strength from a single meal.
*The entire city of Nineveh was transformed when God gave him 40 days to change
*Jesus was empowered by the 40 days in the wilderness
*The disciples were transformed by 40 days with Jesus after the resurrection

See a pattern here?? If it worked for all of these people it will work for us, God does not change His ways or His patterns. He is the same today, tomorrow, and forevermore! I am excited to begin this challenge and spiritually ready! Are you?

I want to encourage you because none of these people experienced an easy 40 Days, but what challenges us the most will build us even greater. This is a time for preparation getting rid of the old and ready for the NEW. We will be strengthened by your words and encouraged by your testimonies and experiences throughout this time so please share as often as possible.

Each day we will read one chapter just as the book instructs and share what God has laid on our hearts. Join our discussion groups and post a page if you have a lot to say as you can see I did here.
